Mug Shots!
We’re a bunch of ordinary Aussie blokes who love getting out there — chasing tracks, setting up camp, throwing in a fishing line, and sharing a cold one around the fire.
Andrew
The driving force behind Outback Tracks and Trails. Passionate about 4WDing, camping, and creating lasting memories with family and mates. Andrew is the one who somehow always manages to surround himself with great people and turns every trip into an adventure worth remembering. Currently planning the big NT run to Dundee Beach with 15 mates — a bucket-list fishing trip that’s been years in the making.
Tony
Andrew’s regular travel partner and co-host. Always up for a big drive, whether it’s the Victorian High Country or a 4-week haul up the Binns Track. Tony brings the laughs, the practical know-how, and is hands-on with filming and editing the vlogs. Currently joining Andrew on the big NT adventure.
Mick
The third core member of the crew. Mick brings years of outback experience and epic stories from trips across the NT, SA, Vic and beyond. You’ll hear plenty from Mick on the podcast and see him joining future adventures, including meeting up in the top end for some fishing.
Together we share honest, unfiltered stories from the road — the good, the challenging, and everything in between — so future generations can look back and see what we got up to with our best mates.
Meet our Special Guests.
We’ve been lucky enough to share the microphone and the tracks with some fantastic people who bring their own stories, experience, and good vibes..
We’re always keen to have more great people join us on the tracks or in the studio — if you’ve got stories to tell and love the outback life, we’d love to hear from you.
KB
Episode 5 - Live from Japan – Tony’s Food, Sights & Adventure Tour with KB
Karen (aka KB) joins us live from Japan as Tony’s partner-in-crime on their 16-day adventure. While usually keeping things grounded back home, this time she’s right in the thick of it — exploring bustling streets, serene temples, and devouring all the incredible Japanese food along the way.
She brings a fresh perspective to the conversation, sharing the highs, the funny moments, and how this overseas trip compares to the crew’s usual outback 4WD adventures. Expect honest insights, plenty of laughs, and a lovely dose of couple energy as she and Tony recount their Japanese journey.
Greg Cotton
Episode 4 - Victorian High Country with Greg Cotton - From Dargo to the Snowy River
Joined us for our Victorian High Country episode, rolling up in his new Ford Ranger. Greg added plenty of laughs and local knowledge as we explored Dargo, Bendoc, the Snowy River, and some cracking High Country tracks.
Micky J.
Episode 2 - From Lake Eyre to Uluru: Micky J’s Big Outback Escape
Our mate and the reason for the big NT fishing trip at Dundee Beach. Micky J has already shared his epic “trip of a lifetime” from Lake Eyre to Uluru on the podcast, and now he’s hosting the crew for four days of bucket-list fishing and mate bonding that we reckon will create lifelong memories.
